Hospizbahn

Glide weightlessly from Grimsel Hospiz down to the foot of the Grimsel dam. It’s as easy as can be, thanks to the Hospiz gondola. Originally built as a service railway, this aerial cableway now conveys hikers from the Grimsel Hospiz to the hiking region in no time at all.

Tickets can be bought online, at the Grimseltor tourist centre in Innertkirchen and at the Grimsel Hospiz visitor centre (ticket machine). There is no ticket machine at the summit station. Tickets can be paid for after the ascent at the ticket machine in the Hospiz visitor centre.

The Berner Oberland Pass takes you as far as Grimsel Summerloch free of charge by train and bus.
